Zerno June Production Update

We hope this email finds you well and want to share the latest production updates, shipping estimates and product features for your Zerno Z1 coffee grinder.


Production Update

We are excited to share that most of the parts have arrived and we expect the final parts within the next week. From there, our production team will be ready to assemble. In the meantime, we have been working on crafting details such as the wood accents.

Shipping Update

We are working really hard to stay close to our initial estimate and we have experienced a delay pushing our estimated shipping time back to July. We understand this may be disappointing news, but know that we hold ourselves to the highest standards and want to ensure that your Z1 meets your expectations. During our QC process, one of our parts did not meet our standards and we sent it back to be reworked. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and want to assure you that we are doing everything in our power to meet our new timeline and keep you informed of any changes.

We will be shipping in two large batches and we will send an email a week prior to shipment to confirm your order customizations and address.

Grinder Features Update

We value all feedback we receive and are happy to share some updates. Due to popular demand, all grinders will ship with color-matched chutes! If you ordered a Soft White Zerno Z1, you will receive a Soft White chute.

Another feature often requested is a stainless steel versus wood cap. We are working on designing a stainless steel cap and, while it won’t be available to ship with this round, you will have the option to purchase one at a later date from the Zerno Store.


Zerno Store

While getting the hyper-aligned Z1 into production, we have been busy working on a digital store that will allow you to further customize your Z1. This is where you can add additional burrs and accessories to your order. You can shop for additional easily swappable burrs that allow you to quickly change up the flavor profile of any bean and wood accents that will open up options for updating the look of your grinder alongside other accessories.

Most orders you place will ship with your grinder at no additional shipping fee (unless the item is marked as backordered). When you checkout please include your original order number in the notes.
