A note about our approach

Our approach is what makes Zerno different. Each grinder that we produce is made-to-order and assembled by hand in Chicago. This means that each grinder requires custom manufacturing and precision engineering and as a result, our lead times are longer. As stated by our community at large – The quality and craftsmanship of our products far outweigh the wait time.

Due to our unique approach and overwhelming demand, we introduced the waitlist to provide a fair and equitable way for our community to secure a Z1. Here are the details of our approach:

Date of Next Preorder Event: TBD

In general, we host preorder events 1x per quarter. Waitlist participants & newsletter subscribers will be notified via email. Lead times vary depending on your waitlist position, but a general rule of thumb is 6+ months after placing your preorder.

While you are on the waitlist

Waitlist participants gain exclusive access to any presale events, in addition to any grinders that become available from canceled orders. 

As you approach the #1 position

Our team will contact and invite you to place your preorder, during which you will build and configure your custom Z1. You will receive your assigned purchasing window along with estimated delivery date via email. 

Please note that payment is submitted at the time of placing your preorder. In order to produce a custom hand made grinder, we begin building your custom grinder with our manufacturing partners as soon as your preorder is placed.

If you miss our correspondence, or if the time isn’t right for you, your position will still be saved and we will reach out again ahead of the next production run.

After you place your preorder

You will receive regular updates via email throughout your grinder’s production cycle via email – These updates will keep you in the loop with the status of your grinder, inform you of any innovations that may be integrated into your Z1, along with the opportunity to make additional add-on purchases or updates to your order.

Note: Waitlist tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable as a means of creating a fair and equitable way for our community to secure a Z1 in the quickest way possible.
