Z2 Production Update - June 2026

Greetings from Zerno HQ in Chicago. We’re back with another update on where Z2 production stands at the start of June. 

Below you'll find the current dispatch schedule by original month, two production changes that are now standard on every Z2, and a new look inside the workshop from Vel.

Updated Timeline by Original Dispatch Month

These estimates are based on your original dispatch month and reflect our most current production schedule.

As always, these windows are based on our current production pace, final assembly, quality control, and packaging workflow. We will continue to communicate updates as we make progress and continue to ramp up our weekly output.

Two Upgrades Now Standard on Every Z2 Order

We have also begun rolling out a few upgrades for all Z2 orders: 

Larger Foam Packaging Kit

Every Z2 now ships with a larger foam packaging kit, which has been redesigned to hold the grinder more securely in transit while creating additional storage space for any included components and accessories. It also makes for a cleaner unboxing experience while providing owners a better long-term storage solution for any pieces that don’t live on the counter. 

The Zerno Pelican-style hard case has also been upgraded to a larger size.

Redesigned Burr Pull Tools With Stronger Magnets

Additionally, the Z2 now includes newly redesigned burr pull tools, with stronger magnets that facilitate cleaner, faster burr swaps.
